Meet Our Founder
Aielyn Bayerkohler
Like many budding artists, in childhood I began by “improving” our home’s walls, tables, insides of dresser drawers and closets, any and all surfaces. Encouraged to restrict myself to paper, I began creating portraits of my family and our pets. These portraits made great gifts commemorating new pets, birthdays, engagements, and anniversaries. Eventually I started to incorporate requests, fitting families into their favorite movies, animes or fantasy series. In art school I began sharing some of my art online, and receiving messages from people asking me to create custom artwork for their own special events. Crafts With Character was born. As the custom portraiture and commissions for businesses continue to grow, I have expanded our mission to include supporting nonprofits, combining my love of both two and four legged friends and my childhood love of coloring books.

Modern technology gives us all kinds of options to share these designs. I have created custom Christmas cards based on the logo of a business, archival quality printing of custom portraits, and affordable fundraising coloring books for nonprofits. Designs can be printed on multiple papers, in multiple sizes, and delivered quickly.
